General info

Tampereen Konepalvelu Oy, which was founded in 1977 to deal in used machine tools, is Finland's oldest continuously operating company in this sector. Over the years Tampereen Konepalvelu Oy also started to sell new machine tools, the first brands being Stanko, Sarlah, Tezsan and Aliko. In 1994 the company concluded an agreement with Strojimport and become the sole agent for Czech and Slovakian machine tools in Finland and Estonia. Tampereen Konepalvelu Oy is currently Finland's largest importer of the Czech and Slovakian machine tools. The selection has also grown to include Spanish Nicolás Correa bed type milling machines, Turkish Ermak shears and press brakes, Austrian EMCO cyclical machines, CNC universal lathes and CNC milling centers, Italian MACC saws, also MG- and Tauring bending machines.

Despite the growing sales of new machine tools, used machine tools form a significant part of Tampereen Konepalvelu Oy's business. This means that customers receive fully-serviced and checked machines directly from stock. If there is no machine immediately available, the company's excellent contacts within Finland and Europe ensure that the desired machine is quickly found. Tampereen Konepalvelu Oy's long-term experience and financial stability also offer the customer security.

The machine tools business is much more than just the delivery of a machine. It means continuity and trust between the customer and the dealer. That's why in the coming years Tampereen Konepalvelu Oy will focus on improving quality instead of increasing volume. Det Norske Veritas Certifications Oy/Ab granted the ISO 9002 quality certificate to Tampereen Konepalvelu Oy and an environmental system certificate according to the ISO 14001 standard.
